@Queendragonfly Its more like reflecting from depression. I compartmentalize it for the most part. Id prefer to leave it a metaphor. Do you have any knowledge on maintaining focus or keeping thoughts at bay? Sometimes when im at work doing a mundane task i get lost in my mind. My body is on autopilot and im living in a different scenario in my mind relating to ptsd.

@GuyWithOpinions Maybe listening to music or a audio book or pod cast could help you wander in the right direction in the mind.


If you're brought back to your traumas it's possible you're having a trigger or a flashback. Then grounding is what I'd aim for. Mention
