I’m realizing that it’s probably not…

…a good thing or a healthy thing to wish that whenever I do happen to fall asleep I really hope with every fiber of my being that I don’t wake up… but the truth is my truth and the reality is my reality. I’m just so tired of being miserable and being lonely and knowing that things are not going to get better and in actuality are only going to get worse.

@Lilymoon It's a lot of things...long story short she's a former pro athlete whose body is pretty much wrecked and her overall prognosis is nothing nice or hopeful. I hope I'm not overstepping by chiming in,but she's in chronic pain and recently had another intense surgical procedure so might not be on here to answer much.
I think about her a lot. She's an amazing person and our friendship goes back many years.
She has written about many of her adventures and calamities on this site and EP .
Julz is a very talented writer as well if ya ask me.

But optimistically...just a bit more polishing the brass and quartz crystal knobs and my time machine ougtta be more operational and we can go check out Velvet Underground at the Boston Tea Party and get some milkshakes in Cambridge after. My theory is that there were very good quality milk products to be found cheaply in that era. Plus,slide a stack of Kodak stock into the glove box and voila-the grandkids are wintering in St.Moritz. Simple.

I’ve been ordered back to bed so I hopefully will get some sleep and make it to the family shindig both tonight and tomorrow. I could really use some of the Christmas magic that’s still going strong with my niece and nephews!!
