You can tell a lie from the truth because the truth will be detailed and specific and a lie isn't creative but sounds too flat and cliche agree?

I don't think that is a universal truth. Many lies are detailed and intended to sound like truths. I see them in junk emails someone took much time to put together. They must have exchanged a special character resembling a letter as the domain had been cloned. It was very creative and deceptive, but Microsoft had good reason to classify it as junk and I blocked the sender.
