I guess it easier than facing the reality.
The truth as hard as it can be I can deal with, but tip-toeing around reality just keeps you in a state of inertia and lengthens the time it takes for you to have to prepare and deal with the inevitable.

@Adrift you are absolutely right. Thank you. I'd rather face the truth so that I can make the needed adjustments in my life that will make me a better person. We are all works in progress and for me personally, facing the truth helps me to see myself the way I really am. Of course I go by Bible based principles that help greatly in making me a better person though not so much in others eyes, but in God's eyes. And that's all that really matters to me at the end of the day.
