This reminds me of an author who was going blind, so a big fan of his who was terminally ill donated his eyes to him just so he could keep writing books. Even though he wouldn’t live to read any of them, he said he could die happy knowing his all-time favorite author would continue writing. The author has donated each and every one of his books to that man since.
