Do you feel sorry for the older generations who had to listen to

all that lame music of theirs?

We had wonderful music. The ways of reproducing it had to evolve.

Well, ok... Sugar Shack and Disco Duck weren't all that bad I suppose... (stifling a giggle)
@rinkydinkydoink I wasn’t listening to those on the radio. 😅
@bijouxbroussard

Don't lie! You had a transistor (probably a Sony!)
@rinkydinkydoink It’s the truth—I really wasn’t listening to those songs.
@rinkydinkydoink This is what I had (Radio shack)
@bijouxbroussard

Maybe Peter Nero? I loved that guy... he interpreted older songs using classical flourishes.
@rinkydinkydoink What do you mean ? Where did I mention Peter Nero ? 🤨
@bijouxbroussard

About Peter Nero? His first LP was entitled New Piano in Town - - I listened to that more than any Beatles album. That and stuff by Louis Prima... (so I'm really half mocking myself with this post)
@rinkydinkydoink Where did I even mention Peter Nero ? Is there a third person in this conversation I can’t see ?
@bijouxbroussard

No bb - no one else. I was assuming your musical tastes were wide and varied... not just the music of your teen years. I mentioned Nero because of your piano training.
@rinkydinkydoink I do know who he is, I just didn’t know how the topic appeared. I like Peter Nero. I also like Peter Duchin, and Eddy Duchin, his father (my mother was a fan).
@bijouxbroussard

Off the top of my head - - Carmen Cavallaro played the music in The Eddy Duchin Story. Saw it many times :)
@rinkydinkydoink This is Peter. I loved this as a teenager.

@rinkydinkydoink Peter Nero's mother, that is, not the Roman king.
