If you've never (or ever) been pregnant do you know what 'nesting behaviour' is and do human females even do it?

I did it both when I was pregnant and when waiting to adopt. I also do it on the run up to Christmas or at any time when I want to make my home or the people in it feel more comfortable. It is cleaning and organizing more thoroughly than you normally would but for a sense of peace and comfort. It makes me feel happy, and doesn't feel like a chore at those times. I pay more attention to soft furnishings too and like to buy little bits that enhance comfort as well as making food that brings comfort.

I don't know about the nesting partners in a poly relationship as that's never applied to me but I imagine if I was living my life like that, there would be women who shared the same goal of creating comfort, would they be a nesting partner or would it only apply to the opposite sex?
