I have a 20 year old truck, and I would be stuck at home without it. No public transportation in our city.

@exexec I just lost my 20 year old van. Now I have my Dad's old SUV which has even more mileage... but it's better than having to go out and buy something. Even used cars are horrendously expensive here.

@SW-User People ask me why I don't buy a new vehicle since I could easily afford one. My Chevy runs great, looks good, rides fine, and is paid for. Why would I want to dump it?

@exexec Exactly. Why spend all that money if you don't need to? My other car, which i just lost last year, was 22. It was a beauty right up until the parking lot "accident" that totaled it.
