What do you make of people here who just post news stories?

Do they nothing to say about their own lives? And why do I need their tilt on the news when I can get if for myself?

I feel the way I do about most topics here; if it interests me I engage, if not, I keep scrolling.
And some forums I block. That way I see less of the topics that I find useless, like organized religion.
