Now that fake photographs can be made this well, can you trust an online picture of anything in future?

Something about the hands always gives it away in AI images, but they’ll figure that out eventually.

I think a short term solution is all AI generated art must come with a watermark of some kind, whether that be physically on the image, or digitally embedded within the image file (like EXIF data or something).

Long ago, I used a small toy superimposed over a river - it fooled someone used to seeing military aircraft who asked if it was a new prototype. This was 20 years ago.

With current technology, it is now certain we must question all still pics and videos.
