@cherokeepatti Never give pepto to a kid. If they have a stomach virus, its full of salicylates (like Aspirin) and can cause Rye's syndrome...which is often fatal for kids. Just sayin in case someone with a young one is a pepto fan.

@TexChik To this day I can’t tolerate aspirin, Pepto Bismol or Alka Seltzer, they all have it in them. Also red wine and not trusting any other type of wines either. I used to have some bad headaches every day as a young child and get aspirin poked in my mouth. I’d throw up every time and my aunt would say that I was having migraines again. Both of my grandmothers had sensitivities to red fruits and vegetables. They couldn’t eat red tomatoes, red watermelon etc. I believe it was the salicylates in them. I have sensitivity to hibiscus tea and have to be careful about raspberries too. Causes different symptoms for me depending on what it is. My sisters don’t have this problem but I believe I inherited the sensitivity from my grandmothers.
