More Love in the World

Through recent events that I've gone through and looking out into the world a bit, I definitely feel that we need more love in the world. There's so much division, separation and apathy in the world right now. There's a part of me that empathises as it can be the easiest option, but sadly that puts us more on the back foot.
As a result, I want to give some encouragement to everyone who stops by. Please let someone know that you love them. Whether that's a friend, blood family member, honorary family member, stranger or someone you knew once; it doesn't matter. If you can think of someone, let them know you love them.
With any luck, they will pass that love on, and the world might just get a little bit brighter. Keep doing this and the people in the world might just get a bit brighter. There's nothing quite so pure as seeing someone's face light up when they know they are loved.

I heard that I hated someone today......I don't hate them, I felt dissapointed in them years ago, and it was brought back up recently, but no, not hate....Maybe I should love those who let me down.

@Kodel He was the anistesiologyst who put me under general anestesia years ago....The next day my whole body ached so so bad for days I called health link and talked to them about it, the nurse on the other line told me that the reason why my body was aching that way was because I was like I was dead!!!! And yeah I was a little dissapointed in that doctor....No I don't hate him, I just think he didn't do a good job with me! And then today I heard that apparently I hate him when I don't!!!! Bahhh!

@saintsong I always find it peculiar when people try to interpret your feelings for you. Sure therapists might do that but that's their job. And they don't even always get it right. Oftentimes we can have fringe emotions that can be enough to warrant concern but nonetheless, sometimes people are happy to try to guide us towards emotions they believe we should have. I just respond firmly, "No, I don't think or feel like that."

@Kodel Yeah, I think I can forgive him, he's an old man, he was my first family doctor as a small child and I remember him being so good to me as a child....I remember the good times too, and I just felt the Holy Spirit kiss me on my forehead, seems He's happy too!

Well I love an endless number of animals, but am hard pressed to think of a single human I love. My mom, but she's gone, and even her not so sure

@SW-User Humans are definitely difficult to love sometimes, but that's the purpose of love. If love was easy, we wouldn't need posts like mine or encouragement to love one another. If need be, start at the easiest person you know and gradually work your way up. It'll be hard, but it will be worth it in the long run.

These days people actually find ways to create controversies.
Kodel · 26-30, M
@Bleak Or conspiracies sadly. It's a distrustful world we live in.
where is the love -

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout All around us. It just takes time, patience and fortitude to see it past all the apathy in the world.
