Anyone else lose all hope in humanity?

Adam Johnson (the hockey player whose neck was slashed) was what sent me spinning down the rabbit hole. I can't even say why. Maybe because my son played hockey or maybe (and I am thinking more accurately) what a senseless loss of a beautiful human. I must get out of this spiral though easier said than done.

It is very senseless. But with these organizations and players, there is great resistance to safety measures. Heck, some professional players don't even have face shields. Many are willing to take the risk and they have no excuses

It's something that's going to have to be instilled in future players when they are kids to create change in how these sports are played
