Do you ever think about your death?

I know, there's so much living to do, but in contrast to when we are born, where we are only known to God, at the end of life there is a hope that we have encountered many people, and our family and friends will settle on us a reputation for how we showed our common humanity to others, whether we were good people, a good person to know, or someone by who's death there is a relief to others. Which kind of reputation would suit you best?

I do think about death a lot, having almost died a few months ago, which was a pretty awful experience. I found some comfort in knowing that I tried my best in life if that was the end. And now that I'm out of the hospital, these past months have been quite a time of reflection, and trying to decide what's important and what's not.

@DiscreetWriter Was that something other than Covid19?

@Bc8627 Bilateral pulmonary embolism. My lungs were filled with blood clots, and I was suffocating from the inside out, and my heart was being damaged from trying to fight against the PEs.
