Does veganism actually save animals?

Animal farming is such a huge large scale industry
Do a few vegans even cause a dent in that process?
If the vegan doesn't eat it, the meat eater will, right? Won't it die anyway?

Veganism is not actually about saving animals. If everyone was vegan, farm animals wouldn’t be alive in the first place.

It’s an ethical/philosophical position, and you can extend it into environmentalism, but it’s not really about saving animals as much as it is about not participating in certain behaviors that are deemed morally wrong.
