Does veganism actually save animals?

Animal farming is such a huge large scale industry
Do a few vegans even cause a dent in that process?
If the vegan doesn't eat it, the meat eater will, right? Won't it die anyway?

Its complicated. Alot of meat and other things get wasted regardless but the less demand should make things change. I'm not a vegan and have no plans to start but people eat waaay too much meat..
Animals suffer and are treated very badly because of the high demand and not only Is too much meat bad for humans but the quality is very poor and we ingest the hormones that were streaming through the animals from a poor quality of life, poor diet, no activity or even sunshine but also the fear, the abuse... Its like a concentration camp in most of those places
