If somebody is intellectually challenged, and they use the N*gger word

ooh tough one that.. because we cannot blame parents for everything.. the world's changed.. parents aren't the only, or the most influential determinant on kids now.. there's social media, kids at school etc.. so they learn from them..
Then we move on to people who are intellectually challenged.. the thing is.. like it or not.. they would have a reduced capacity to understand right from wrong.. we can not like it but that's how it is.. It's like saying.. we expect a one legged runner to compete on the same terms as a two legged person.

So what I am saying is.. people are all different and we cannot treat everyone the same..

Those considerations aside.. no, it's not ok to make racial slurs

Maybe stop being offended over it. Words have no power than what you give them.

REGARDLESS of the intent of the person who uses a particular slur, offense takes place in the head of the offended.

I can use the word "gook" to two different people without explaining what I mean. One will be offended. One won't. Why? Maybe because one is of Asian descent, and the other understands the context (say, as when I'm cleaning the greasy GOOK out of my grill).
