Someone told me that depression tricks your mind into thinking that it's normal to feel that way.

That's why it's difficult to treat mental disorders. You basically relapse the moment your brain thinks it's time to 🙄

That person was full of sh-t and spreading ignorance...it might be remotely true for "the blues", but real depression is sometimes physiological and more often neurological in nature. Not curable but often treatable and controllable with medications, support, and therapy.

@EffThisTroll920 Yes each person's experience is somewhat different but the facts of it are still the same across the board. There is a difference in feeling depressed and having depression.
