And yet a large portion of men are giving flattery and slobbering all over those images. And I see that as part of the problem. It's promoted and encouraged on-line and many (mostly the younger generation) think that is the thing to do or what they need to do to get acknowledged or validated.
@JimboSaturn I'm a bit insecure. I'm pretty good with me, but I've been told some awful things by men, starting with my dad. I don't wear makeup or dress up so that I can remain invisible. Male attention has started to become painfully shallow so I avoid it.
