It’s hilarious that women are still using those “smooth off all the rough edges” filters on their photos.

And yet a large portion of men are giving flattery and slobbering all over those images. And I see that as part of the problem. It's promoted and encouraged on-line and many (mostly the younger generation) think that is the thing to do or what they need to do to get acknowledged or validated.
