Why Do People Lie?

I just don't get it. I caught someone at work lying to me when he didn't really need to do so. I backed him into a corner with the truth and all he had to say was "I dropped the ball" I would have understood. now a big drama is going on at work as he continues to spin the lie.

I just don't understand. But I got vindication and he and our office manager got their asses handed to them.

Karma is a B*tch..

To protect themselves and/or their true feelings. I think it’s based in selfishness.

@nonsensiclesnail i am not a good person to lie to. he knew he was busted and then he tried to flip it on me and say I was the problem. and he said it loud enough so that others heard it and thought he was telling me off. but nope. i got him good.
@akindheart Im glad you have been vindicated by your own hand!!

@nonsensiclesnail how is it selfish when you got none else protecting you when you’re protecting yourself from harm
