Why do humans think it’s okay to comment on others body?

I am a prude. Before anyone tries to accuse me of anything, I never wear revealing clothing because I’m autistic and only feel comfortable when my clothes are baggy.

Anyway, I was leaving the gym earlier and had this man cat call me because of my “fat” buttocks.

I understand to modern Americans a big butt is attractive, but I get this comment a lot and I don’t understand why they think it’s appropriate to tell me. 😞 I can’t even say it’s only men. I’ve had a woman coworker comment too.

I think my history of áń0rexiä might make me extra sensitive to this. I’m heavier than I have been in years and it makes me want to die.

@666Maggotz Cool. It is doubtful we will agree on much. Body dysmorphia.........anorexia.........are all aspects of a mental illness. So you are looking at even a compliment as an attack on you personally......in reality it is just the opposite. So logic or explanation of normal human behavior and interaction is something you will not recognize as such....because your ideas of "normal" are skewed..

@MaBalzEsHari I talked about how it personally effected me. It’s still morally wrong because this sort of behavior is rooted in misogyny and the objectification of women. I think comments on a persons body are are vain and shallow.

@666Maggotz I think that must be it. I've known @MaBalzEsHari for a while, and he strikes me as being just a silly little guy who likes a moderate amount of tomfoolery, so I think maybe he just didn't realize how he came off.
