Do You Think We Are Becoming Less Tolerant In General As Time Goes On?

We are becoming more tolerant of some things, but less tolerant of other things. In western white society, individualism is the standard, so we generally tolerate people who don't fit in, broadly speaking. It's also of note that tolerance is not a virtue in itself. What are we tolerating? Should we tolerate hatred? Should we tolerate greed? Should we tolerate child rape? Should we tolerate polyamory? Should we tolerate genocide? No.

Unity is also a word people seem to think is inherently virtuous. Unified around what? And with who? Be a righteous person, and unify with the righteous around what is wholesome and upright.

I think tolerance of many wrong things has made the world bad. Sometimes, the wicked should be purged in mass. Would it be so bad if we had a mass murder of everyone involved in child sex trafficking, for instance? I don't think so.

@BRUUH What are you doing listing polyamory between child rape and genocide? Does that make me amonging those you feel should be rightfully purged?

@BRUUH i don't believe purging is at all the way to go..thats total barbarism ...i understand what you're saying but not your ideal of dealing with it.
