how old does one have to be to have common sense?

so a new, younger person started a warehouse job today. as i am training him he's talking on his phone. not just a quick conversation but quite a bit of the day. he's speaking in a different language. do some people not know how wrong that is?

This is the earliest generation who grew up with "gentle parenting". They're starting to enter the workforce now, and they don't have a concept of rules, limits, or consequences.

I think in time we're all gonna see what a bad idea "gentle parenting" is.
