Follow-up on my post, "Do-Gooders and Other Fools"
My cleaning lady had a "TALK" with me about being more tolerant and forgiving of people who are stupid, and/or who might have mental health problems, or even be on mental health drugs.
Being me, at the time, I said, "But...I don' wanna!" 🤣🤣🤣 I was still ticked off. It takes me a minute or two.
Thankfully, last week the lady who was bullying my cleaning ladies didn't even go IN the laundry room while she was there. She actually sat out in the lobby with her laundry. So...something got fixed. I did speak with her best friend about it...but other than that, I kept quiet.
THEN with a sort of Twilight Zone coincidence, I received a daily Bible verse in my email the next day. It was [b][i][big]Proverbs 4:7
"Wisdom is the principle thing; therefore get wisdom; and with all thy getting, get understanding."[/big][/i][/b]
😱 Was that eerie, or what? 😱
THEN...in the early evening, after my cleaning lady had left, there was a knock on my door...and it was the woman who lives in the apartment with the guy on a mobility scooter. (The one I insulted...sort of).
(Just in explanation, I have had a sign up in the elevator for two weeks now, requesting used, clean egg cartons, which I plan to pass on to my friend Tom, who, in turn, has a friend who raises chickens, Dave. Dave has tons of eggs and no egg cartons, so we are all collecting them for him).
This woman was holding a large box...FILLED with egg cartons!!! TWENTY ONE of them! And she said she had told her parents that I needed egg cartons, and they had managed to save all of those cartons for me!!!
And then...she said, "YOU do so much for all of us, and we wanted to do something nice for you!"

SO...let me just admit that I am a dumb a$$, and I am being SHOWN the error of my ways, and I am being SHOWN that God is watching and helping ALL of us.
AND...I am ashamed of myself for allowing myself to get so upset.
