My sister did that several times. Seemed like an attempt to manipulate her husband…always made sure he found her in time.

@cherokeepatti My mom's sister does the same thing. even though her hatred for my mother seems to slow down now ever since.

@cherokeepatti it is done to manipulate them with fear and guilt “if I die, it’s your fault” abusive behaviour. Online it’s hard to prove a death or attempt has been faked. So I’m guessing it’s easy to do!

@FreestyleArt sorry to hear that. Do you understand why they did it? What they hoed to achieve?

@BurningBright My aunt is just arrogant at times. almost like shes jealous of my mom.

@FreestyleArt sounds mentally ill. Possibly a personality disorder behind it or similar

@cherokeepatti any idea why she did this??

@BurningBright Personality disorder. She has a sadistic streak and wants to control other people. This is emotional blackmail. She was overbearing and critical to her husband, and played on his emotions. She was sadistic to me from the time I was a toddler, kicking me in the head so I would fall down with seizures. They had me tested for epilepsy and my brain waves didn’t indicate it. And when she was a young teen she started talking and laughing about remembering doing it and how I would lay there and shake during the seizures. It was so damned hysterically funny to her.
