And in other news…

He fired 10 bullets through a covered window and glass door. This is an apartment. This guy should not be a police officer. His partners were inside the, and who knows who else might have been in that apartment, or the neighboring apartments as well. This is firearms safety 101.

The county that hired him should set aside $12M, at a minimum for a legal action fund. More like $100M, as this time around, negligence is not even in question.
@Northwest That's the problem. The city pays all settlements so the Police Force can hire dangerous people like this.
Ontheroad · M
I just don't get it - how do we not have a nationwide database for all the law enforcement people fired for cause, and a law that says no rehires for these criminals?
@Ontheroad I don’t understand that, either. With all the publicity the case received, there doesn’t seem to be any way they couldn’t have known. They just don’t care.
originnone · 61-69, M
@Ontheroad What's to not get? I'd be surprised if they didn't....or a friend's security company or something....
Quetzalcoatlus · 46-50, M
I've said it before and will say it again: cancel culture doesn't exist, not even for murderers.
@NerdyPotato You’re absolutely right. 🥺
Peaceandnamaste · 26-30, F
Shame on the police system. He should be in prison not working again.
@Peaceandnamaste Absolutely right. Proof that they see their police as hired killers.
Gloomy · F
Just fuck the whole police system this is outrageous 🤬
Typical. The Cop who killed Tamir Rice had already killed a person and been fired by that Police Force. It only took seconds for him to get out of the car and kill the 12 year old.
KA9ha · 31-35, M
shocked and disgusted at the "police" action" it was a true cowardice of the police force to hire a sharpshooter /murderer and killer for a 12 yr old... or any human life
for that matter......ridiculous....
ChipmunkErnie · 70-79, M
It's like some kind of private club or something -- get fired from one force, get hired by another. :(
JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
This is infuriating.
iamonfire696 · 41-45, F
He should not be a police officer. This is just so wrong .
@iamonfire696 Agreed. And I was told that happens more often than people think, quietly.
iamonfire696 · 41-45, F
@bijouxbroussard Sadly, you are right about this.
@tenente No, I guess not.
