Like a 5. In the strict definition of the sense, yeah I don't believe in god, but that's not on par with me saying there is no god. There might be one, I just don't know.
I always say I'm agnostic rather than atheist. I like exploring the idea of god outside of religion, especially when getting into ideas like simulation theory, but I'm not on board with the Abrahamic interpretation of higher intelligence

Zero!
I know God is real and we are in a new 3rd and freer Dispensation then ever before, which I have written many Posts about.
I get it, Atheists hate this Post because it is not Atheist and Old School Christians hate this Post because it is not Old School Christian.
It's not always fun being sandwiched in the middle!
...unless it is during a 3 way sex event ...lol

The Bible has been updated! ...old restrictions have been lifted!

I respect other peoples beliefs but I know when I die my spirit will return to the land and be with my ancestors.
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
9.5 It's less that I'm unsure in the last .5 it's just that some definitions of god get abstract and internal enough that trying to say that vague idea is false is not something I think I can coherently work against.

I don’t believe in God per se but I believe in spirits. So maybe like a 7. Idk

Agnostic, which translates to rolling my eyes at people who proselytize but getting teary at the clip you posted here. 🥺

There’s some very dodgy editing in that video. Gervais and the child never interact in a natural and fluid manner.
It’s like TV shows when they pretend to do a live interview by having the interviewer’s questions and then the interviewee speaks apparently in response but actually made a series of pre-recorded statements and the questions are spliced in afterwards.
The loud (and irritating) music masks any changes in ambient noise that would make the re-editing obvious.

I think there are lots of gods. Even the Judeo/Christian/Muslim god says there are others. Gods don't create things, they are just perfect beings who, like us, eventually die.

I have no idea how to answer this
Ferric67 · M
@ScreamingFox you buy my answer 👇
ScreamingFox · 41-45, F
@Ferric67 I mean, can I don't really know yet be okay? 😆
I clearly feel something non-fictional, but it doesn't give me any answers even if there are any.

If only the atheist man would have been real with the kid with the deadly disease, then religious folks wouldn't be able to exploit an emotional moment.

It's a high number for me.
Infamous607 · 51-55, M
Depends on how much trouble I'm in.
If everything is going good I can be as atheist as the best of them.
But depending on how much shit I find myself in is the degree on my praying and believing.

An atheist has no gods.
There’s no scale - it’s an absolute. One either has gods or one does not… it’s like being a gentleman - you either are, or you are not 😀
In fact the word shouldn't even exist. We don't have a word to describe someone who doesn't think that Elvis is working in a 7-11 somewhere or who doesn't think that a giant reptile will soon attack New York

There's a lot we don't understand, and by default, fictional how we like it to be
BamPow · 51-55, M
Would an agnostic be a 5 on that scale?
WaryWitchWandering · 36-40, F
@BamPow that’s what I was thinking

Are you asking about believing in the god of the Bible or whether the universe was intelligently designed?
bijouxbroussard · F
You edited this, with a less effective title. If he says he believes in heaven, how is he an atheist ?

@FreeSpirit1 My issue is that a minor mountain spirit found by Moses, according to the holey buy bull, is supposedly the so called "creator" and above all. Pure horseshit all around. Notice the 10 commandments say, "i am the lord thy god, thou shalt have no other gods before me." That means other spirit dieties in plausibility do exist, according to the buy bull. In the Mesopotamian myth of the Anunaki they're supposedly the creators, which is where Abraham came from, so he was familiar with it, as well as his descendents, whom Moses wrote as "let US make man in OUR image." Also Moses was also familiar with the creation myth of the Egyptian god Ra, who supposedly created himself then the earth, hence in genesis 1:1, "The earth was void." I studied a lot of this stuff when I was younger.
