I don't think there's one biggest lie, but a common theme around self worth/importance and the lies are built around what it is connected to. For instance how much money you have, what you do for a living, how attractive you are, how well informed on the latest things you are, wether people like you or not. When none of that matters, because none of that stuff actually equates to happiness.

@BluntSm0ker Technically it does, the situation we're in (regardless of which country you're in, I'm not American btw) stems from "both sides bad" narratives and most people sitting out letting an unpopular minority win
Boomers are the only who vote compactly at every election and in fact I've yet to see a single politician anywhere in the world cutting on retirement funds for those that are already receiving it, or anything potentially turning away the senior voting base. Wonder why lol
