The whole point of the rainbow symbol is that it includes all colours in the spectrum. Where it is displayed, all respectful people are welcome.

@SunshineGirl was going to say the exact same thing 👍

@SunshineGirl it doesn't and can't contain 'all colours' in the visible light spectrum. And a correct 'rainbow' is roygbiv .

@zonavar68 And those defects make heterosexual people uncomfortable?

@zonavar68 Thats the most ridiculous rebuttel ive nearly ever heard. its a symbol of the rainbow man. Not a real one.
And if you wanna get all pedantic about the legitimacy of the colours, indigo has been recently dropped from the rainbow as its not really physically visable and is a subset of violet.
The only reason it was included in the first place is that Newton was a bit of a spiritual nut and liked the symbolic value of "7" and thus claimed the rainbow was made of 7 colours.
If you wanna get all scientific - its actually made of a continuous blend of potentially infinite colours - of which we, as humans, can only pick up about 6 or so within the tiny visible spectrum we actually see.
(Which is less rhan 1% of what's really there)
What ? Next youre going to say a symbol of a cross isnt viable because its not made of wood, or been individually blessed?
A dollar sign isnt real?
A question mark has no value because you cant hear it?
Society is built on symbols.
Your own profile picture is a symbol of what you've chosen to represent you.
SW's logo is a symbol.
They are everywhere
The rainbow has been used many times over to represent hope, peace, divine bridges, promise and 'unity thru diversity' throughout our social history.
For thousands of years.
You need to read more. Learn shit.
