"Remember back when the world was a better place"?

It was never a better place, you were just younger with less responsibility.

We are always more technologically advanced than the era before. Life has been getting exponentially easier every few years since all the way back when we invented spears.

We just complain about the same shit and pass it to our children.

maybe easy ain’t good. I think humans do better when we have to work for things. Having everything you need or want at the drop of a hat so to speak as in, purchasable right. Just go to the store, whatever you need is already made and waiting for you and it takes zero skill or creativity to gain it. In that sense things are too easy. On the other hand, we live in an overstimulating time. Overstimulating and expensive. Work is absolute slavery just to pay for these easily aquirable things and still most can barely afford to keep a roof over their head. Would it be actually easier if we just had to make our own roofs? Money wasn’t part of the equation?
Yea, I do remember going to Canada with no military checkpoint. I remember anti war Americans. I remember socialism with public housing and welfare for all Americans. I remember how you tore it down. I see you still. You don't know me and never would.

@Roundandroundwego weve had factories for over 100 years. We mass produce so much waste we cant keep up with it. Shouldnt everyone have thier basic needs met worldwide by now?

@Roundandroundwego why do we pay for food when we need it to survive?

@Roundandroundwego if everyone had thier needs met there would be less reason to take from others. But conflict generates income for the ritch. And keeps them ritch

"Remember when we didn't hear so many threats and scaremongering from media?"

Because we totally weren't running around spilling flour or powdered sugar and screaming: "watch out, anthrax!" in 2000. 😆
