If there were less humans.
Maybe if the few humans left went through a type of dark age where some industrial technologies are forgotten and mass production is no longer possible.

In time nature will take back the ruined cities and the world will balance itself back out.

If no one had ever thought up religious.. Plan B is to remove humans from the equation..😷
