@Heavenlywarrior because the bible, regardless of whether or not it is right or wrong about god, is factually incorrect on many scientific subjects.

@Heavenlywarrior I'm non religious but I don't have a problem with religious people.

What I do have an issue with is when people interpret religious texts in a way that leads them to do harm to other people.

Interpretation is the thing because almost no religious people interpret every word of their religion's texts literally. To do so would be impossible because there are so many contractions. Turn the other cheek, Old Testament God.

I doubt that you want to stone homosexuals to death. Well maybe you do but I'm sure you do do have issues with Jesus being a pacifist socialist. Jesus was far too woke for even me.

Also, claiming the placebo effect as some kind of proof of god is more against your side anyway, considering what the placebo effect is. basically, attributing an effect to something that isn't actually there.
