Absolutely meaningless, totally unenforceable, and a complete waste of time.

Off to a great start 🙄
Baremine · 70-79, C
@GuiltyBiStander but totally true.somebody has the common sense to figure out and say it. THERE ARE ONLY TWO GENDERS. MALE AND FEMALE.
GuiltyBiStander · 31-35, F
@Baremine

And you think an executive order on that is a sign of "progress" ?
SarahAndSamantha · 51-55, T
@Baremine 'common' sense. Ever notice that 'common' is usually, although abundant, the most worthless? Uncommon and rare usually denote more value.

How about 'basic' biology that you chucks love to point to. Amazing how when you get beyond 'basic' understanding of things, it becomes more complex, a deeper understanding of biology. That's what we're dealing with here. You have your pretty much worthless basic and common understanding of things far too complex for you. Study more of leave it up to the people who actually know things beyond common and basic understandings. I have a basic understanding of how my car works. But I leave it up to my mechanic to fix it.

oh, and even IF there are only two genders (beyond the 'basic' level of biology disagrees with you, by the way) that doesn't change the fact that mine is woman.
Heavenlywarrior · 36-40, M
@SarahAndSamantha do u have a period?
SarahAndSamantha · 51-55, T
@Heavenlywarrior Nope. What's your point? Do women stop being women when they don't have periods? My mom's 75, I don't know when her last period was, but I'm pretty sure she doesn't have them anymore. Is she not a woman now?

Let's move this along. Your answer is going to be something along the lines of "But she was able to have one." Okay, there are women who have never had a period in there life and never will. Are they not women?

"But chromosomes." There's more than XX and XY. There are also people with Complete Androgen Insensitivity. Meaning they appear 100 percent as female, to the point that if they were to transition to male you would throw a fit saying they can only be a woman, yet they have XY chromosomes.

Look, we could go on and on and round and round. What you're missing, or don't care about is that I have never once in my entire life claimed to be a ciswoman.
Baremine · 70-79, C
@SarahAndSamantha so what do you claim to be?
SarahAndSamantha · 51-55, T
@Baremine A woman. or when it's needed to clarify for context, a transwoman.
Baremine · 70-79, C
@SarahAndSamantha so "It" is probably the proper term.
SarahAndSamantha · 51-55, T
@Baremine Oh, thought ya'll didn't like the pronoun thing, make up your mind. lol.
Baremine · 70-79, C
@SarahAndSamantha must have hit a nerve.
SarahAndSamantha · 51-55, T
@Baremine your aim's not that good. try harder, chuck
Baremine · 70-79, C
@SarahAndSamantha whatever. Enjoy your life.
Heavenlywarrior · 36-40, M
@SarahAndSamantha no matter what…. There is a standard for Natural Born Woman… with a womb. And ovaries. And the ability to produce breast milk for a child.

Those “pronouns” are only for those who subscribe to them and desire to be categorized by it.
SarahAndSamantha · 51-55, T
@Heavenlywarrior the thing about standards is there are exceptions. There are women, whether through surgical procedures or simply being born without, who don't have wombs, or ovaries. are they not women? funny you bring up breast milk being a sign of a natural born woman, too. Ever heard of NominalNaomi? not that you'd acknowledge her, but still.....

and, no matter what... I never claimed to be a "Natural Born Woman" did I?

Those “pronouns” are only for those who subscribe to them and desire to be categorized by it.

and I'm not the one who brought pronouns into this. lol.
Heavenlywarrior · 36-40, M
@SarahAndSamantha u brought up Cis… and those qualities are for a functioning woman. That’s good well being.

If these anomalies do happen , which they do…. It’s called a deficiency.

So yes… those woman who are lacking these functions that are natural to their sex are deficient.
SarahAndSamantha · 51-55, T
@Heavenlywarrior cis is not a pronoun, just so we're clear. Okay, let's go with 'deficiency'. deficient or not, are they or are they not women?
Heavenlywarrior · 36-40, M
@SarahAndSamantha yes they are women , they have a womb.
SarahAndSamantha · 51-55, T
@Heavenlywarrior again I bring up a woman born without a womb, which happens. is she or is she not a woman?
Heavenlywarrior · 36-40, M
@SarahAndSamantha does she have a vagina?
SarahAndSamantha · 51-55, T
@Heavenlywarrior
Vaginal agenesis is a congenital disorder that causes a female to be born without a vagina.

maybe, maybe not. gonna answer the womb question or keep moving the goalpost?
Heavenlywarrior · 36-40, M
@SarahAndSamantha answer: still a woman…

but all these examples you are giving are “Rare” happening 1 in 5000 or more.

Which once again means the norm is to have a womb as a woman. A vagina as a woman. And all those different unique functions a woman has.

If woman lacks one , there are other functions she may not be deficient in that proves she’s a natural born woman.
SarahAndSamantha · 51-55, T
@Heavenlywarrior but, 'norm' or not, 'rare' or not, none of these things you've listed are an actual requirement for womanhood. So, give me something that is a requirement for being a woman. doesn't matter how rare it is, or how outside of the norm. What is a requirement that all women have, every single one of them, no exception?
Heavenlywarrior · 36-40, M
@SarahAndSamantha a woman naturally has reproductive system which is a combination of working ovaries, a uterus, and a vagina. As well as develop breasts for feeding.

This all together is a vital criteria in determining what a Natural born well being woman is .

Outside of chromosomes.
SarahAndSamantha · 51-55, T
@Heavenlywarrior round and round we go. We've already determined that none of those are requirements for being a woman, and furthermore there are women born without those. Furtherfurthermore, there are cis women out there with less developed breasts than I have, and mine are pretty dang small. Also, by breasts are what I've grown naturally, I've never been on hrt as of yet. So, the breast thing doesn't satisfy it either. milk production also doesn't satisfy.

we've discussed the chromosome thing too.

alllllllll of this still doesn't change the fact that I've never claimed to BE a 'natural born' woman.
Heavenlywarrior · 36-40, M
@SarahAndSamantha a vagina. Final answer lol.

This is what makes one a woman.
