Crime rate went down. When it's legal nationally it will be better for growers. There's still a black market. National legalization may take organized crime out of the equation completely.
@JonLosAngeles66 Crime in the Denver area has actually increased.
@NativePortlander1970 "In the Colorado region, from 2003-2012 (pre legalization), the average number of property crimes per 100,000 residents was 2,364. Following legalization, from 2012 to 2016, property crimes decreased to an average of 2,034 per 100,000 residents." https://www.ebpsociety.org/blog/education/525-the-effect-of-marijuana-legalization-on-crime-rates#:~:text=In%20the%20Colorado%20region%2C%20from,of%202%2C034%20per%20100%2C000%20residents.
@JonLosAngeles66 What a load of shit, property crime? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤦‍♀️🙄 How about personal crime, hmmm? My BFF grew up in the worst neighborhood in all of Colorado, East Colfax, around East High School on York, she now lives a few blocks off East Colfax near Yosemite. I talk with her almost daily on the phone, she tells me there are daily shootings, she has lost numerous classmates and neighbors in those shootings, the majority of them due to drugs, specifically the weed black market that is thriving there. You're in SoCal, you do not know jack shit about what's going on in Colorado, so shut the fuck up.
