Question: cry for help or just carry on regardless?

One hears a lot about burn out. What do you think about people who owe up that they have difficulty at the workplace? When they've own up for example that they have dyslexia? Does one need to carry on regardless and keep quiet? Or does one need to speak up and does ones employer need to take measures to make the work less stressful than it already is?
I think a good boss will do whatever is possible to assist workers with disabilities;
what matters most for both boss and worker is getting the job done well.

Burnout is a different issue.
Different people feel stressed by different triggers, often due to past conditioning.
Burnout is avoidable, so each person is responsible for monitoring his or her stress levels and seeking help (with a psychologist, outside the workplace) when they first feel it.
Keeping aerobically fit is proven to be one of the best ways to deal with stress.

If the workplace is one of toxic dysfunctionality, it's better to seek another job.

@hartfire A good boss. Does that still exist? I haven't one for decades now. Never easy to move away for a workplace turned toxic like that
@val70 Whenever I was preparing to leave a job, I scoured the job adds regularly til I found what I was looking for. SOmetimes I went through retraining.
As for good bosses - we're all human. No one can be another's idea of perfect.
But there are bosses who recognise equal opportunity for people with disabilities. And there are bosses who know that a toxic workplace is inefficient and counter-productive.
Part of the interview involves your right to ask those kinds of questions. The right employers will give the right answers, and will want you more for having asked those questions.
I really wish that was a since. But it's very competitive these. People whom i interviewed are now being paid more in terms of raise and they work only 8 hours i work 10 hours. Also I am constantly pressed for different types of workso it does becomes very stressful. I am trying to find other work or alternative sources of income. But honestly the employers don't care about people they only need work done and people who can work for lesser payments.

Delicate situation indeed . Needs to be handled appropriately 😊
Sounds like this should go to HR 🤔
