Would you intervene....

I think this is an instinct thing and you don't really know how you'll react until it happens. I intervened to break up a fight involving a bottle once. I didn't think about it at all, but I've no idea if I'd do the same again.

I dunno, I am a real woman. Depends on who is involved, do I really want to help someone maybe if a guy is doing that..could I intervene or would it cause me harm..


What is the reason for this person doing that to someone?.


Maybe call police would be good.

Depends on the situation. There came times when it happened on campus or in suburbs and stopping the fights made sense

At times or places where I'm in gang areas with high gun violence and homicide rates, it's incredibly risky and you never know the situation in truth, so you have to move on sometimes

Taken more than a few punches for intervening on a couple different domestic violence cases and assaults.

If I suddenly see inside a public toilet, while setting on my lip gloss, two guys pulling two ladies by force from the toilet and they scream for help because they don't wanna go with them, I would surely interfere and jump on one them to stop or try to stop them from taking the girls but if one of them push me to the ground or push me to the washing basin, they better get ready for my person to barge in, especially if I started shouting "leave her alone!" so they better not cause an action movie incident to happen in my life during my peaceful relation with someone in my future, I can't bare see his left eyebrow being injured, neither the side of his lips.
Don't think about it in your head or it will happen! 🙁

It would depend on the situation and all involved.

I have done in the past, but I think Lugubri0 gave a good answer on this, it is an instinct thing, I wouldn't get involved in two blokes fighting, I might try and cause a distraction though which may or may not work, but may cause temporary confusion

If it’s serious and I have reason to assume the assailant isn’t armed, absolutely. If the situation is risky, dial 911 and let the police do their job.

I would call the police but afterwards I would have no choice but to intervene. Let me hope 11 years of practicing Kung fu would be useful in a street fight 🙏

I think I would be pretty foolish to try to intervene physically if there is a weapon or multiple assailants. In that case I would try to get help.

It can all depend on what I'm carrying that day if my sword cane yes, if a gun oh yeah, if a cell phone then I'll call the cops.

Depends if I thought I could take them on. I know some kick boxing moves so I might, otherwise I'd definitely attempt to get help.

I did. It worked. The participants were angry at me for stopping the fight at the wedding reception.

I'd most likely just mind my own business but it honestly depends on who it is that's getting assaulted

Been there, had my brother call the police while I went to help the woman.

I think I’d be way too scared but I’d call the police though

I have intervened several times in such instances.

If it's just one person yes.
