Will you go on Instagram today?

Instead of doing something thoroughly frivolous and narcissistic why don't you try and cultivate a hobby instead?

For example, I am an avid crochet enthusiast (particularly Tunisian crochet). It is wonderfully relaxing and I'm able to make clothes for disadvantaged people. Also my friend Martha broke her hip over winter and I was able to make brightly coloured blanket which helped with her moral and stopped her being despondent. So I'm trying to illustrate that there are hobbies which are fun, edifying and good for the community.

I know if you're male, then perhaps crochet wouldn't be appealing to you. Carpentry then might be a good idea. I know someone who when they turned 30 they started carpentry (just as a hobby) and they ended up getting a rather good job (well, compared to the job they had before). Just as with crochet, you'll be able to make yourself become useful to the community and consequently, become more popular.

And a popular pass time that both men and women can enjoy is gardening. Gardening is very cathartic and increases the mental well being of the whole neighborhood (as long as there are gnomes) and will be good for property prices in the whole area!

So don't waste time on Instagram.
