Labels confuse me. I say my opinions and people can decide what box to put me in. Except I seem to be boxless.

What would you call a person who's too liberal to be called radical, too radical to be called liberal, too lgbtq supportive to be against lgbtq, but too little lgbtq supportive to count as a part of the LGBTQ community?

That's me. Hello. Nice to meet you and no one seem to think I'm enough for any group. 😆

Technically a Libertarian and LGBTQ+ Ally. I'm not sure if the question was rhetorical or not. *puts the labels back in the box*

@Queendragonfly True, but I'm wishy washy on it. You'll have your chance to shine that other gender another day. You are now set to gender fluid as a default. This relationship probably won't last. I wouldn't change your legal documents too soon.

@Jessmari I look forward to the day when we can joke about this without someone getting offended. Maybe in another life time.

@Queendragonfly Part of equality is taking a jab just like everyone else. Thinking otherwise is contradictory.

I wouldn't want to be grouped. Not because I think I'm better than anyone, but rather because I believe generalisation to be more of a human instinct, or knee-jerk reaction. For some people, they will cling to anything as an identity, just to suckle that sweet bosom of validation (I think that's a mammalian trait). Perhaps you should just start your own religion. That seems to be the best way to present your brand without really having to get to know other people. Then other people will model themselves after you. Try and do finger guns as a conclusion to every presentation, that way people know you're cool and relatable enough to be seriously joking. Let Johnny O run your PR.

Haha, hey that’s me too!! I’m somehow always in the middle 🤷🏻‍♀️😂

@cherryxblossom Welcome to the no label club 😂
Labels are confusing. For one thing, they’re not universal. What is considered a "liberal" perspective in one part of the world is completely the opposite somewhere else. I know what things I support, and those which I don’t. Overall, from a U.S. perspective I consider myself a solid progressive, but in a few cases some of my opinions are more conservative than others in that category.

@bijouxbroussard
Labels are confusing
yet this world is addicted to labels, on everything. That confuses me 😆

Same here, that's where the relevance lays I think.

I'm not that interested in what you call yourself cause in the end I will make my impression of you anyways.
@Queendragonfly Yes, that’s definitely how things work. Even my label is mostly based upon those who declare the same or similar beliefs. We may all be wrong ! 😅

Wow, we are similar for sure.
I like to call our kind, "Logical." 🙂
Queendragonfly · 31-35, F
@calicuz

I see your point, but I think each and every person uses their logic in their stances.

For example. To a liberalist it's logic to be vegan. Because (insert reason) To a radicalist it's logic to be against lgbtq because (insert reason)

For me it's logic to not try to label people to the left and right and instead ask what they think is important and why. Everything doesn't have to be about picking a side.

Political debates wants us to be for or against but I don't see the win with it

@Queendragonfly

You just proved me right with your logic. 🤣
