If he would do that to his mom no one is safe. He needs help.

It doesnt matter what else was going on, he committed the crime of murder and needs to face the judge for his actions, but im not sure its legal to have a jury of ten year olds...
Pretzel · 61-69, M
I think he should be released into the home of the parole board that grants his parole.

On a related note I heard one state ...California maybe...has a law that says a juvenile can't be held past the age of 25 no matter what crime they commit.

And in my town two boys killed their dad and burned down the house. They were released about 10 years ago and haven't been in any major problems since then.

I think the juvenile mind changes with age so this little angel might be safe in a decade. But I don't want him living next to me

Yes, he should certainly be put away for a very long time. We can't allow anybody, even a child, to get away with murder. There may be underlying issues, and it's up to the investigators to find out those issues if any, but that is no excuse to allow a murderer to go free.
Yes, this child is motherless now at his own hand, so it is now up to society to teach this child the value of life going forward. Even if that lesson is taught behind bars. Hopefully one day he will understand what he did, understand the value of life and grow up to be a better person, but for now he has to understand that he must be held responsible for his actions.

I wonder why little man was so angry though and suspect it was not just about a headset.

Obviously he needs help.

Life sentences are dumb. If someone is worthy enough to be caged forever then you may as well kill them
Woofwoof15 · 26-30, F
@Jackaloftheazuresand but he's ten
Jackaloftheazuresand · 26-30, M
@Woofwoof15 well nobody says you have to give him the life sentence but if you're going to then it's like I said. The safest thing for all of society to agree on though would be to kill all criminals
@Jackaloftheazuresand Including jaywalkers?
The affidavit said that when he arrived, he saw his grandmother crying and “stated without any empathy or compassion: ‘I’m really sorry for what happened. I’m sorry for killing my mom.’”

After he apologized for killing his mother, “he then asked if his Amazon package arrived."
HairbrushDiva · 31-35, F
He should be executed for that.
Woofwoof15 · 26-30, F
@HairbrushDiva I know if he was an adult and was locked away/ killed I wouldn't care because it's safer for society but he's ten. I just don't know how to feel. The more details that come out about this story the more horrible this kid actually is
HairbrushDiva · 31-35, F
@Woofwoof15 I've heard other stories about what sinister little horrors ten-year-olds can be.
MrTanner · M
@HairbrushDiva Indeed they can.
wildbill83 · 36-40, M
give him a hammer and turn him loose in the pelosi residence... 🤔
Why was a gun so easy to access by a ten year old?
SarithBorn · 18-21, M
murder is murder
