What would you do in this situation?

Let's say you just graduated college and you and your best friend got the same internship together. You're friend has a higher/ better position than you and he says that he got this position because he worked hard and got it but later you found out he got it because he had Rich parents who had "connections" and he barely even works this job because AI does most of it. He just pretends he's hard working
Well it's natural. At your age it's totally normal. My colleagues from highschool are much more ahead then me but they worked harder too. I work hard too but my work isn't academic based.

None of my business. I would just concentrate on my own career and perhaps start looking for a new job if my employees were that corrupt 😕

That kind of stuff has happened all the time I just accept it as life. I then continued to work hard and have reached further than most.
It’s pointless to do anything but do your best. Especially if you want to remain friends. .
I wouldnt hold it on him being a rich kid and having connections.
I would hold his work ethic and lying against him though. Id also reconsider your friendship, dont end it if hes been an actual friend to you, just file it away and find a new company to work for.

{@woofwoof15] these sort of charlatans they always get found out in the end they cannot hide the truth . maybe a shocking revelation but that is the way of the world unfair as it money and influence talk and cut the mustard sadly

@allygator18 Kyle Shanahan is the son of Mike Shanahan. Hes a good coach too, it helps hes been around it his entire life.
@allygator18 I dont knock anyone for making any money. I dont knock anyone for getting lucky at a job, i do knock the employers though, especially if they fail spectacularly.
