We surely all agree that the internet is not an accurate reflection of society

Take Christians. Online they are all anger and judgment. The Christian’s I have met face to face are good people, who strive to alleviate pain, empower goodness and encourage community unity. All that without a single meme.

And this is true of other groups and demographics. The internet is like a negativity amplifier. We are not this ugly.

Absolutely. People only put out one dimension of themselves on the internet. Myself included. Some folks say it's a defense mechanism. Can't put too much of your real personality out there among strangers.
