Would you rather die in this scenario?

Let's say you have cancer and despite years of treatment you're dying. The doctor says if you turn into a demon you'll be healthy and live much longer. But if you do you'll never be able to eat human food. You'll never be able to drink water, you'll have to eat people.

For demons who decide to not eat people, they go through a 7 year period of hell. They will experience voient intense hunger pangs. A lot of demons who tried to resist eating people have either gone insane and ate their families or committed suicide. But if you can survive this seven years of hell then you will be healthy and able to live a normal life.
