No. If a person spends years in a box with everyone one constantly watching and judging him then you will come out mentslly fucked up. Most of the time if you spend years in prison you learn things from other people in there and come out hard as fuck. You become the influences in your life. Noone deserves to be shoved in a box. There is no healing.

@GuyWithOpinions also they learn how to do more crimes while they are in prison, they get taught by the older ones.
@GuyWithOpinions Yes, some people deserved to be locked away, never to interact with civilized society again.

@TheSentinel no. That is torture. If you have a personal problem with someone you deal with it face to face. Cops are just gangsters with a badge. Not even a dog belongs in a cage but these is the society we created. We accept this as right because we are not the ones in the cage.
@GuyWithOpinions I'm thinking in particular of the person who murdered my bother's two preschool aged grandchildren. NO he hos no place in civilized society, and never will. He deserves to rot, locked away from society.

@TheSentinel lol yeah, hows he going to serve that? "Your so bad you stay in jail 500 years!" And we get to pay for it. He gets shelter and food and medical care that comes from our tax dollars. If he does bad shit he doesnt want to be found. Wich means noone will notice him being gone. Id go camping for a week. He would just simply not exist when i get back.
@GuyWithOpinions The problem with that is that then you would be the one locked away.
