Youtube content creators are now all starting to get sponsors, etc. to support them and more

The more being getting people to buy a subscription via Patreon or similar.

It's getting very annoying to have to put with sponsored 'ads' done by the creators themselves during their videos.

I wonder if YT takes note of this and tries to figure out a way to force ad viewing (via 'paid sponsorships') into videos yet?

I watch YT on my PC in Firefox using ad and script blockers that are effective at blocking YT's force ad insertions.

@zonavar68 That's exactly what it is now for many, many people. The Internet is just one big monetization zone for a while now.

@zonavar68 Yes.. and just about everywhere you go online is either the medium for the monetization or a location to advertise it.

It's all about creating your "brand" now.
