is youtube premium much different to the free youtube

on the microsoft edge browser yesterday on youtube i got a message blocking me from viewing the youtube video telling me to turn off my adblockers or pay for premium...microsoft edge isn't my main browser, google chrome is and i haven't seen this message on chrome yet..

so i'm thinking it will come a time that i have to pay for premium because i despise ads full stop & don't want to put up with ads.....i love youtube and don't want my experience to change....thats why i want to know if i was to pay for premium....is it much different to the ordinary free youtube, can you still access all the same content as you can on the free youtube?

In my opinion YouTube premium is a good service and worth the money is you use YouTube regularly. It has all the same content with no ads, and you get YouTube music (which is as good as Spotify or Pandora) included with no ads as well.

I spend a lot of time on YouTube but i certainly wouldn't pay for it.
