Laina Morris, forever known as "Overly Attached Girlfriend", did not launch herself as a meme accidentally. She made a video for a contest put on by Justin Bieber to create a video as a companion to his music video, "Boyfriend".

Her lyrical and comedic talent, coupled with that trademark stare, launched her to fame, but in 2014, she began to fall into a deep depression from the pressure of continuously uploading new content.
In 2019, for the sake of her mental health, she chose to end her YouTube career. This is a move I support wholeheartedly, as she was clearly putting too much pressure on herself.
