Is it weird that an eBay seller wants you to upload a video of a faulty product to YouTube?

I got something and part of it didn't work,

I sent pics but the eBay DM system doesn't let you share videos.

And the seller asked me to link them a YouTube vid.

I dunno, it just feels kinda weird 😕

If I really wanted a replacement, I would just make a new YouTube account if I had that privacy qualm.

The request itself isn't weird as people scam all the time and people want to verify it's actually broken
