I was thinking about Yahoo Chatroom user rooms that was the 1st thing to go, then the chatrooms were gone, then they bring in Yahoo Answers and change their games format. To look like Microsoft Windows games Thats when I left, but kept Yahoo messenger till the end.
Then closed out everything Yahoo kiss that place good riddance. To me the Late 90s early 2000s were the time to be on yahoo.

Some modern features could have been added, and inconveniences solved through common sense and non-apathy from it's admins. Instead, neglect was usually the default.
