Question about renters rights in Niagara Falls New York.

So I’ve been renting a home for 7 years from a landlord I never met that lives in Texas. She has decided to sell the home I live in and wants to send a professional photographer to take pictures of the interior of my home I feel very uncomfortable with that request I very much like my privacy and don’t want any photos of my belonging,my home posted online for all to see. My question is can I deny them entry to take photographs?
Under New York state laws, there is no required notice before the landlord enters the leased premises for maintenance or repairs, emergency situations, or prospective showings.
I am not sure of the laws there, but the homeowner probably has an accessibility clause in your lease. Denying the photographer access will likely lead to your eviction.

@TexChik Eviction or request to vacate because I don’t even care what the law says they can request I move and I’ll move I’m just going to refuse them entry.

@Lovehope777 I'm sorry you feel that way. Perhaps the new owner will keep you on as a renter.
Check online but you're probably going to find that she or her representative is allowed to enter the home after giving reasonable notice.

Moving then as I will be refusing.

I hope everything works out.

[c=BF0080]I don’t know about the laws, but I know I’d feel like it’s an invasion of my privacy. [/c]

She owns the property so you might be out of luck. 🤷‍♀️
